Switzerland faces a decision on its direction: should the ban on new nuclear power plants fall? The “Yes to Nuclear” alliance says a clear yes – for clean electricity around the clock, a secure supply in winter and affordable energy.

Why now?

With the phase-out of fossil fuels, electricity demand is rising. Hydropower, sun and wind alone cannot cover it every hour. Nuclear complements them as climate-friendly baseload.
